What is Service accounts means?

I have created accounts in AD and configured using Powershell commands.

Do i need to add superuser and superreader accounts as local admins on sharepoint server?

Am I missing something here? Please let me know.Any help would be appreciated.

I am too getting this error, but I want to understand how is this impacting the sharepoint? I understand the load on servers can increase but what are the other factors…

Either you have a typo in your user/password combination or you are using claims authentication.

Added under Admin\Managed accounts and seems to be OK (or could have been somethign else I tried such as some restarts of both server and IE)

yes exactly. You have to use the claims naming format (without the domain name).

Hello,
I used Claims Authentication when I created my Web Apps. You recommend using the claims naming format instead of the DOMAIN\ACCOUNT format. So do you mean I should use i:0#.w\domain\username in the property value above? Please clarify – thanks.
